I'd probably get it if my computer isn't crap. I played the first Half-Life, never beat it, but it was fun to play.

A real sequel to Half-Life has been announced to be released this september (although games like this hardly ever come out on time). Do you think this will change the world or just be another Unreal 2?

Since Half Life ended on a cliff hanger, I am highly anticipating this release. However, as far as gameplay goes, I expect it to be just another half life except with better graphics.

But isn't that really what everyone would want? I mean, the thing everyone loved so much about the first one was the gameplay, so why mess with a good thing? Obviously, there will be a few enhancements, but beyond that, I expect the feel of the game will remain the same.

I totally agree. I wasn't putting it down. I just meant that I don't expect it to revolutionize the FPS genre like Half Life 1 did.

I'm still totally looking forward to it.:)

I can't wait for the new half-life, I'm still playing CS, but when I heard about this I started playing the old HL again. And, I suppose sense you did did have a choice at the end to take the G-Man's, (The guy in the suit) job or face legions of the aliens with no weapons. You probably took the job.
