Been wanting to for a while, so I finally gave in and bought a songbird ocarina (ocarina of time extended range).

Probably. I know it's advertized in NP, but I honestly don't have a subscription (*gasp* a sin, know).

I got one a while ago, (around the same time Majoras mask was released. I used to know the song of time, eponas song, and the new MM songs too. But I such at it now...

Yesterday I found a girl with an extended range ocarina of time and we're gonna try playing kokate and koume's theme (the song i mentioned in an earlier reply, though, admittedly, I had to look up the name :p). Then, after we play the song, she's gonna fall in love with me and we're gonna get married and have kids and then we'll name one of them Link! Okay, okay, I lied in that last sentence... we won't name him Link :p

Unfortunately the range of the song is much larger than the range of the ocarina, so I had to transpose everything down 4 semitones and rewrite some parts. I can post the playable version if anyone wants it, and I'll write out the fingering as well if you can't read music. It's pretty sweet, though I doubt I'll be able to play either part very well at the proper speed any time soon. Definately a challenge, but really cool if you can find someone to play it with. I love this song :p

I always wanted an Ocarina, I just never found the time to fork out the cash to get it. I may get one, one of these days when I get that much spare cash.:shrug: till then, I'm stuck with my super l33t air guitar!
