Me(4:01:28 PM): im rollerblading coming back from fiske pond
Me (4:01:43 PM): so im on the wrong side of the rode to get to my street
Me (4:01:59 PM): so i look back i see a green truck far enough back that i have time to cross
Me(4:02:02 PM): i start
Me (4:02:12 PM): the guy goes to the middle o the street and fucking speeds up
Me (4:02:23 PM): i make it over he slams on his horn and speeds off
Me (4:02:27 PM): I MEAN JESUS

people need to learn how to leave other people the fuck alone

anyways by the time i had crossed he was still a good 25 feet from me and he still acts like an asshole

Particularly on the road. Some people feel like they need to "punish" other motorists when they do something wrong, so they honk at someone who broke some little rule, or who didn't go fast enough on a green light even if it wasn't affecting them at all or if it is after what happened.

Its also from the power/invulnerability image- he's safe in his fast car, so he feel like he can just honk at you and do whatever he wants, since he'll speed away and never see you again, and there's nothing you can do. That sort of feeling greatly contributes to assholish behavoir.

Me too but after the shock wore off and the sobbing stopped, he'd probably be too far away for any rock I threw to hit him by then. Thank heavens thats never happened to me before....
