i posted apicture over at zcn about where i am stuck in death mountain its in the next to the last room i can't kill that gray ghost thing or what ever it is called how do i kill it

You will need to reflect his beams with your mirror shield.
You do have that one, don't you.
It's at the end of another secret dungeon.

Or use the mirror in the room, but that's a bit too hard. :cry:

The ghost you speak of (who's all around Death Mountain) is a Mirror Wizzrobe or MirroRobe. He takes 6 reflected magic shots to kill. And you practically need the mirror shield from Manchuria Bluffs to do that.

Manchuria Bluffs in HD-regular isn't too hard if you make ample use of the fire boomerang both to freeze the bubbles, and to kill off the wallmasters and like-likes. The hammer works well enough on the darknuts at the end, and the fire boomerang will take care of the bosses. It's just a matter of working your way through the many rooms and narrow passageways.

(Please note that in HDX, it is highly advisable to have gold armor from the optional dungeon close by the lev 3 whistle warp before attempting to take on the third darknut room. Trust me on this.)
