I actually thought it was really well done, but I have to ask... why do they bother to try and save themselves?

So people like us can have the enjoyment of watching them fight other people in slow-motion with awsome special effects...

personally the part when neo jumped on the car was the greatest! and of course the mr smith fighting ;)

As it is DC you make a good point...why would the "save" themselves?

They are much better off in the matrix then they are on that desolete planted thats surface is un-inhabitable.....You feel the same sensations and have the same feelings so whats really the difference? There really isnt....if you think about it.

But there will be those people who think living free would be way better then living in the matrix....

If i knew i was in the matrix id rather be out of it but I dont know if i really want to know wether or not im in such a matrix.....

like cypher said: "Ignorance is bliss"

It's a movie about freedom, something a lot of people don't appreciate now days.

right near the end of the trailer when all the smiths pile on top of neo, i heard the guys at the studio called it the "did someone drop a quarter?" scene. LOL.
