Question about the BOOTS..

when collected, they will protect you from 'damage' combos; you could also set a quest rule so that boots consume magic; if set, then when Link walks over damage combo when he has collected the boots, magic will be drained & if Link runs out of magic, then the affects of the boots will wear off & they will no longer protect him from the damage combos.

K, thanks... Also, is there ANY way I could make a hoverboard type item? (hoverboards, from Back to the Future)...

I'm trying to make a B.t.t.F. themed Zelda game, but I don't know how to make a hoverboard :(

Your best option is to replace the raft, but it will still only launch from docks.

Yes, do what Jigglysaint said. Make a dock combo that looks like a hoverboarding spot or something. You could also replace the flippers with creativity.

Hm, yes, I thought about the docks but figure it would only show up durng the floating scene, but I forgot that Z-Quest is an EDITOR.... XD I could add dozens of "hover"docks...

Also, I like the flipper editing idea... is there a way to do that?

Yes.. You can make flippers look like whatever you want to. Same with all the tiles in the game.

Using that idea, you could change Link's swimming sprites to make it look like he's floating.

Now, another question: how do you edit the sprites/tiles in the color they appear in the game?
