Well... It's Prime Time

As promised I traded in a bunch of old PC games and got a copy of Metroid Prime.

Any suggestions? Not spoilers... just suggestions for maximzing my fun.

If you want the game to be like the first metriod, turn the hint system off. You won't be told where to go next, so it won't be linear.

Check out a "one time only" FAQ if you want to be able to get 100% on your first game. :shrug: That's about it.

1: Scan the Ice Shriekbats. They're only there once, so don't miss them.

2: That enemy in the Central Dynamo for the first time-it can't be scanned, so don't bother. Just aim for where the lasers are coming from and forget your non-combat visors.

1) Scan everything you can

2) Don't be afraid to use missiles or super missiles

3) The last suit in the game looks sweet :) .

I think if you collect 100% of the items and get 100% of the scans, Samus may be in a bathing suit at the end, but I'm not sure.

You can't play through the game with her in her batthing suit though, I do know that. But, you can get a connection bonus with Metroid Fusion and play through Prime with the Fusion suit on! (and it's colors change just like in the GBA game)

No, and that sucks. You DO get to see her take off her helmet at the end if you collect enough items, and she looks freaking sweet :drool: . But if you want Bathing suits, you're going to have to play the original metroid, so conviniently included in this game as long as you own Metroid Fusion (also an awesome game. You should try it)

If you unlock one of the Image Galleries, there is a sweet-ass closeup model of her face.. a lot of the other images suck but there are a few cool ones. It's all concept art tho ;)

If you're trying to see as much as you can, it is almost a good idea to take notes on what you see buy can't access at the time. Keep your eyes open for secrets that you can't get at first.
