Anyone know of a specific game that had some good overworld music? I'm kinda short on overworld music in general, so I figured I'd ask to limit my search on the incredibally huge vgmusic.

Me too. Good overworld music is hard to find.

No it's not. You just have to know where to look.

i'm not too keen on using someone else's game music for my quests, so i usually do a search on google for 'original midis'.. theres a lot of people out there with some skill who are totally happy to see someone using their songs :) although i usually have to weed through a lot of shit in order to find anything worthy of a game ;)

Golden Sun has the best music you can find. VGmusic has a good selection of midis from the game.(including the main overworld song)

Hey, Nick, I know that this is off-topic, but do you have any Sonic Tiles for ZQuest? I have the MIDI's, but not the tiles. If you do, then it would be a big help.

I'd probably suggest the GS:LA overworld, it's good. that, or breath of fire 1, that probably is my absolute favorite

Ill use the Final fantasy VII and IX ones!!
by the way, if you want some good music for overworld or dungeons, either get an emulator and roms for the original three castlevanias, or browse the castlevania pages...The pirate ship music works great!!!(castlevania III)

In the Name of The Rose(An RPG Maker 2000 game) Has the best music I've ever heard in any game. And, it's in .mid format. My advice, download it online, and just take the MIDIs. You can play it ,too, but you'll need the RTP.

I probably have an Ikana_Canyon MIDI. I don't have much overworld music either.
