Can you make the boss roar in different sounds.

No. Only the two options in the screen flag menu are available.

sure. if you edit the sfx.dat file. but those sounds would be only on YOUR comp when you play it, and would take the space of the two boss roar sounds already there, so it wouldn't really be worth it.
