Frankly, I'm shocked. But after playing the absolute HELL out of this game, I'm not surprised. Well...actually I AM surprised that it beat out Zone of the Elders, the 2nd runner. But still, what's your excuse for not trying it?

World Winning Soccer Evolution International Eleven 6 (etc etc etc) is by far the better game for this month

Yeah, considering that a lot of 9.0+ titles come out each month for the PS2.

Admit it, it'[s even better than Substance. :D

(Now, Im aware that IGN PS2 is not god, but hell, even Gamespot, which can['t stand DDR (6.9) gave it an 8.8, where anything above an 9 is godlike at that site. People are starting to pay attention, and the fact that there are over a thousand registered users on FreQnet already (the game has only been out a week with little to no publicity) it has to be pretty damn good)

Better than Substance? For you I'm sure it is  Like I've said if i wanna dance I'll get drunk and go to a club... It's one of those things that grown-ups do ;)

Music games have not been good to me. But maybe this Amplitude thing will be differnt.

I don't see what the big deal is about music games...either you dance or do something else, all to music. I think Amplitude isn't really that big of a deal...but then again, since I've never played it, my opinion is quite uninformed. However, I believe that games like Rez are better for the music genre, as they really break the mold.

Its not a dancing game though DC. ;) I, myself, don't care much for DDR, but Amplitude just seemed fun. It's probably one of those games that you really hate, or you really love. I didn't even have the game, and managed to get someone to buy, and now they think its awesome. It's underrated though I think, because everyone thinks its another DDR. I suppose the same goes for Rez. I heard that was good, but it didn't sell well at all.

Hey, is the two player mode any better than Frequency's?

I thought it was pretty weak and almost useless. I'd rather it were two different tracks and you didn't have to share. The way they had it, you could just sit on one track the whole song because they didn't get used up like in 1p mode.
