Quest loading problems

I'm having a problem running and loading quests. Here's what's happening.

I tried to download and install the newest version from the zelda classic web site (Zelda Classic v1.90 stable release.) For some reason or another neither the zquest editor nor the zelda classic program will open when I try to open them (yes i have unzipped the file and ran the install executable). A small dos window appears and then quickly closes and nothing happens. So I downloaded the Beta version and the accompanying support packages. I can open zquest and I can load my quests in it. (I have an old quest that I was working on and hoping to continue.) When I open zelda classic I cannot open my quest or the other quests that came along with the beta version (I can open the ones that come with the stable version however). When I try to load the quest I get an error message saying "Not a Quest".

If someone can help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it... Thanks.

Make sure they're all in the same directory. If not, go to 'Quest Dir' and specify the directory where they're located. Beyond that, I don't know, as I've never had problems opening quests in beta 182.

For one, get the true latest version, version 1.92B182. Second, try using the Windows version.

For best results, use the 183 player to play your quest but do ensure you have your 182 support files as well.

It's in the forum "ZC Discussion," under "Frozen: ZC v. 1.92 Build 1.82" (or something like that.)
