I got mine yesterday, and am through the first 2 dungeons. This game is suprisingly difficult, the puzzles i mean, the combat is pretty simple though.

overall, GAME=AWSOME!

Especially the grappling hook, that things the best.

Yeah. From what I saw from the movie, the grappling hook does look pretty sweet.

Are you saying you dont have a Gamecube, but you have the game? Is the grappling hook another name for the hookshot?

Pre-ordered it(bonus disc was the culprit), but I usually rent one, or call my friend so I can play GC games on his. I would've went for the G4 sweepstakes, but there are too many odds against me to even think about calling.

The grappling hook is used to swing from place to place or climb(on the boat it's used as a crane),. The hookshot does the same in traveling from one place to another, but you can also use it to pull things, like enemies, items, etc.

It's not a total loss.:) I actually got to play it for a while, and it's pretty good. Link still looks like a stool, but I was too immersed in the game to laugh at him.

I might be getting it tomorrow. Depends if I can borrow $15 from my dad. If you preordered the game, it costs $37, right?

I had to pay 38 dollars even.

I made through the first two dungeons as well, and am currently back on outset island getting ready to talk to lord jabun. The graphics in the game blend in so perfectly with the action that you actually forget about it. BTW Links new evade attack kicks so much gluteous maximous!

I rather like the counterattack feature as well. The bosses are fairly well done. The two I've faced anyways. They require a little bit of thought to beat, even if that thought is "How can I use the dungeon item to soften up/expose the boss's weakspot?"

No, the grappling hook is a hook on a rope, you throw it at a horizontal pole or pipe or something, and it wraps around the pipe allowing you to swing from the pipe to cross a crevase or something.

I have all three pearls and beat the temple of Gods, now im in some castle where everything is frozen and all the stuff is colorless. Its wierd and I cant figure out where to go.

I just got past that part, and I'd encourage you to look for a puzzle inside the castle. You'll see an image of the triforce where the puzzle is located.

Also, I hope you've mastered the art of counterstriking. You'll need it soon.
