Help Using Example

I can't get the Zelda Classic to load anything from ZQuest. How can I do this?
What I have been doing is opening Zelda Classic, clicking on he Misc button, and then clicking Quest Dir and then choosing the example one. Then I enter a name to play and play but it doesn't work (basically I want to try the cheat codes). What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the quest has a quest number of 0. Under ZQuest, this can be found under the quest header data.

I looked and made sure the number was 0 and it still doesn't work. How frustrating. Any more suggestions? Thanks...

To me, it sounds like you're setting the quest dir, but you're not selecting the quest to play.

Here's how to do that.

Register your name on the selection screen.

Press the button you have assigned to A. Some options will pop up, one of which will be custom quest.

Press A again, select the quest from the menu that opens, and press the ok button, or enter on your keyboard.

That should do it...
