Land of Serenity question

In land of Serenity by Chris Miller, How do you "toggle" between light and dark world? I'm looking for a stronger sword than the white I have and I believe there is a stronger one south of the start in dark world but I'm stuck in light world.HELP. (I hope this question makes since)
