How do I load quests to play?

In the main game, after extracting downloaded quest files to the Zelda directory, I am going to the quest directory in the misc. menu. I can see the new quest and highlight it and hit "ok," but it does not load. I am running v192 with the 183player and the regular quest runs perfect in XP Pro. Please advise.

The quest dir option only allows you to set a dir for where you want the quests to be.

To play a custom quest, you'll want to do the following.

Register your name on the selection screen.

Press the button you have assigned to A. Some options will pop up, one of which will be custom quest.

Press A again, select the quest from the menu that opens, and press the ok button, or enter on your keyboard.

That's it. :)

Just wanted to say thanks for your help--It worked! Are there any particular Quests you recommend?

Hidden Duality is good for a difficult challenge. Might I also plug my own for a small slightly easier start? See my sig. I'm sure others can suggest quests that might be good for starting players.
