I would like to have some Super Mario Bros 1 tiles from the NES. I love those classic tiles from the very first SMB1 from the Nes.

Could somebody get some tiles for me please.

Thanks!

I'll try it. No guarantees i will get them all. Do you want them in a zgp, or in a bmp???

That will mean i only need to do the tile graphics. That's gonna be real easy, since there are only 256 8x8 tiles to put together. That will make things much easier.

I'd be surprised if VEL didn't already know about CaptainN before you joined here...

On the other hand, it seems we have a new member that lives up to their name... :p

I've done some work on a Mario 1 tileset (for MultiMario, a Mario game-maker in development at GU (www.thegamingunivese.com)), but I haven't got anything but the tiles from world 1-1 so far...there are so few tiles that it's really easy to put one together...even with the flashing ? blocks, there are only about 10-15 tiles in the whole of world 1-1, but I want to finish making level maps, so I'm sure I have everything before I rip the tiles.

Questwizard, could you pass what you make my way as well? It'd still take a while to stretch the tiles to 32x32 and rip them, but it could really speed up the process when it comes time to rip the sprites. I'll be sure to give you credit when I release the MultiMario Mario 1 (NES) tileset.

Just stretch everything to 32x32? That's not a priblem at all. It might take me a little while to get all of the palettes and stuff. I am having to recolor all of the sprites, because the palettes are all on one line in the screenshot. I might just leave it pretty much that way. It will help me to get done faster. Oh, by the way, do you want any custom tiles or anything like that put into it?? I was just wandering.

I have that site in my favorites, and I checked the properties, and it said I added it to my favorites in august last year.

I also attached a .bmp file that has some level tiles, I'm not sure if it all of them, the file came from a smb editor. ;)

It came with a smb editor. I had the editor on another computer, and I put them on a floppy an attached them to the post.

It's working fine now. That's almost all of the tiles. Just need all of the other sprites with animation. Then stretch them out again and i'm done. :D

Don't stretch them for ZC... ZC uses 16x16 tiles, so they'll work fine at the original size.

It's only for MultiMario that they'll need to be streched...and I may want to adjust the palettes in Zquest before I import them into MultiMario, so don't worry about that for me either.

I pretty much stuck the whole palette in 1 cset. I just made copies of it for the other csets.
