It lets you load files with the extensions .mod, .s3m, and things like that. Very old music file types. I don;t even know why they are still used these days. I definitely don't use them.

uhhh... nope still dont get it..... why not just change the mid loader to.... .mid, .mod, and .whatever else....... why T. Music???

I have no idea why DN did that. I think it shoulod be in with the midi's too.

T-music is a type of midi that sounds exactly realistic. It makes it sound like real nintendo music. ordinary midi's are just instrument sounding music.

hmm... yes but maybe its just me but MIDIs seem to produce better quality... plus theyre pretty flexiable.... its easier to make a variation of one song..... why would ya do this?.... diff. dungeons with similar yet are different styles..... mods however are good if ya want it to sound like the game/whatever it came from..... WAVs I could understand... but mods and s3ms!?......

Midis sound better to me. they may not be perfectly accurate, but they do not have a lot of static like most tracker files do.
