How to load a custom quest?

Uhh... this may seem like a dumb question, but how do you load a quest you made into Zelda Classic? I tried dragging the .qst file to zelda.exe and I tried, at the title screen, going to Misc>Quest Dir..., but nothing seemed to work.

You need to first select the qst you want in your quest directory.
Then once you selected it, an error box will pop up saying wrong qst file. What you can do is press enter then press the left [alt] key twice to enter custom quest mode. It will then prompt a pop up box asking you to select the qst file. Select the qst file and you can now play your custom qst file. Note if you play any upgrades of the same qst, you may need to rename all the upgrades to the same name of that qst file.
