It's quite possible that I'm just blind, but the betatest thread says MOD/S3M/XM/IT suppost has been added to ZC and I'm not seeing it in ZQuest 192/182. Is it in this version, and if so, where?

Thanks.

In the DMap editor. Go into a DMap and click Load T. Music. To Erase it, press Clear T. Music.

QW -- thanks; this might work until I can get my MIDIs configured properly. (Gotta love the ol' Slackware learning curve.) I'd been meaning to replace MIDI with digital music where possible anyway due to quality.

Freedom -- MOD is a digitally sequenced music format, generally superior to MIDI, which has recently been implemented in ZC. Other, similar formats XM, S3M, and IT also work. The main problem is that there are a lot more MIDIs available than MODs.

Also, if you stick to MIDI music, your whole quest only takes a single file, whereas if you use MODs, you have to include them separately.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the most obvious thing: MODs are much bigger than MIDIs.

where would you find them?
I've never even heard of them.
