use layers. on a separate screen color all the whole screen black. then in the spot that the top of the house would be place the top house tiles. now back on the original screen click data then layes and under 4 put the map # where you made your new screen and then the screen #. uncheck trasparent. link should now walk under the top half of the house. If you nedd more info see the tutorial.

The easiest way is to make the combos overhead combos.

Another more flexible method involves activating and using layer 3, the first layer to display over Link. Hmmm, do we have a simple tutorial on layers yet?

The basics of layers is this: Each active layer is on a separate map, and they are linked together under the Layers option under one of the menus.

If you hit PgUp and PgDn you'll eventually find the data for layers. You can set the map to use for each one under the Layers item. Now you can use the layers data on screen to tell Zquest which layers you're working on, and which ones you want to see. You can turn off higher layers while you work on lower layers and so forth. And that's all there really is to it.

Layer 0 - Secrets are activated here only. Any undercombos show up on this layer as well. This layer displays under Link and the non-walkable parts of combos block Link.

Layer 1&2 - Also displays under Link, Non-walkable combos block Link. You can place pushable blocks on these layers. (The under combo still displays on Layer 0)

Layer 3&4 - Appears over Link and under flying enemies. Non-walkable means nothing on this layer.

Layer 5+ - Over everything. Good for animated weather combos and any covering that partially obscures Link's view.

Now what do you do if you want a push block to be pushed over several kinds of ground? You can set the push block (infinite push) to Layer 2, put your layer one in, and the undercombo will still change only Layer 0. Since Layer 1 is over Layer 0, it has no visible effect.
