I have created a title screen for my quest and have set it to warp to the first part of the story. the titlescreen is set on screen 00 and the story screen to warp to is on screen 01. Both are on the same Dmap. The problem I am having is that when the warp is triggered I am sent to some random screen with 3 keese. The level is set to 99 and the dmap is set to Dgn. The warp is a insta-warp/w wave fx and on the screen data the timed warp is set to 600 tics. Can someone help me?

It sounds like you may have the warp set as a passageway. Check both the warp settings and make sure they are set right.

(There's Tile Warp and Screen Warp and I'm not sure which one timed warps use. It may be possible you set up the wrong one.)

It probably uses the tile warp. I haven't really used it yet, but it sounds like a tile warp.

It sounds like you're being sent to a passageway/item room. First of all, you should probably set the level to a cave or OW type, as the auto-move thing may mess up your cutsenes. Second, timed warps use the side warp, so put those same co-ordinates in the side warp menu.:)

the side warp? that would be my problem I have been setting it to the tile warp. Thanks alot!

OK, just remember that 120 tics isn't all that much. The player will be able to glance at it for maybe... 2 seconds, and that really isn't enough. I have it set to about 700 tics. Works fine. Just make sure that you have some good music on there, and then try to make the title and intro on 2 different dmaps so you can switch musics. Just a suggestion.

60 tics = 1 second. That's what I surmise because that's the standard framerate for something to seem fluid.
