Today we had yet another snow day. Or an ice day whatever 3rd in a row though. So today i decided to get outta the house. And of course i had one of my ingeniouse ideas to take the trucks off my skateboard and go outside. Needles to say my ass is sore right now because of all the falling. But other than that it was hella fun. I just know for future references to wear like an ass pad or something of the sort.

I went snowboarding down my street once; we enjoyed ourselves except for walking back up the street. I believe that skateboard style snowboards are sold, with grip tape etc. and no trucks. Going down a ramp and off a jump unclipped into your snowboard is also a *fun* idea if you like being sore, and if you don't have any concrete around. I'm a fan of regular snowboarding though, and I've got a K2 Spitfire Wide from (I think) 2001.

Sorry to boot a semi old thread but my internet fucked up earlier this week and I just not got it back up to put my imput into recent topics.

One thing me and my friends do is either bike on ice or just use a normal skateboard without removed trucks or wheels. It's better with the wheels on because you spin around and go backwards.

THATS FUN!!! I've got two old skateboard boards and I was up on big bear dec. 20th-21st and my bro and I were ridin' down the hillz in the fresh 9" of snow we got hehe that's fun!!! I think my ass was more sore from snowboarding though lol. :D now all i need to do is get myself a real snowboard so that i dont have to keep renting!!! but i'm still not decided on what setup i'm gonna get, lots of choices for bindings/boots/snowboards!!! I know i'd like to get either a Burton Custom, BMC, or Canyon board but the bindings are still up in the air...I was thinkin burton bindings, but i hear that flow bindings are really good, and they're not too bad in the price depot... drake bindings too. boots i have no idea yet :D

I should have tried that last week when Texas got hit by ice storms. Too bad I didn't have anything reasonable to use for a board. :(
