:p

$1,000,000 may seem like a lot, but it is a town, so you are getting your moneys worth :)

Go on, someone buy it :p

If we all chip in towards it, we can all go live there as well...

interesting...

If every one of AGN's members pitched in $347.14 we could rename the town Armageddon and live there!

We should just pitch in and buy a nice big plot of land in the middle of nowhere, and grow drugs on it to pay off the initial cost. After that, we can have conventions there at a much cheaper price, or even free if we keep up the industry.

We could move there, try and form a town and eventually a country, and live happily ever after until we run out of food from the munchies. We could make the official language 1337.

I'm intrigued, and would like to purchase this town.

Anyone got $1,065,000 I can borrow?

Not the weirdest thing I've heard of. There was a small European country (Lichtenstein I think? Not Sure.) That you could rent for the weekend for corporate retreats.

On a different note, there was also the lady who tried auctioning off the right for a corporation or company to name her baby. I don't think she got a taker.

this is a very strange offer. What would you actually get?? People own the buildings and the property.. you would just.. uh.. get a piece of paper that says you own the city?? sound like a crock o' shit to me!

Its kindof strage to think that all it would take is about $350 from each of us to have all that money at our disposal. Even if we all contributed just a dollar it would go a long way. ;)

For $350 apiece it better have a decent bowling alley, or something worth doing in it.

Suddenly I'm reminded of the South Park episode I saw last weekend where Cartman bought his own amusement park...

What?! No bowling alley? Count me out. I'd have even settled for a small pool hall, or perhaps some sort of skating rink or something..

I was short about $1,060,000 anyways.

All that for only one million? This is either a scam, or the best deal I've ever heard of... I would definitely agree to pitch in $300.
