I have a Intergrated 4 Meg Intel video card,
and 128MB Ram,
and a 700Mhz Pentium III Processor,
and I think that my 4 meg card uses some system memory. Is there a way to increse how much memory it uses to increse it's size?? {Do I really have a 8 meg card??}
{I want to improve WarCraft 3, I think I meet the other requirements, is a video card all I need?? {I know more ram would help } :)

I don't know much about computers, but I think you'd have to buy a new Video card, I don't think you can upgrade a existing card.

It seems the lowest requirement is a 8MB video card, though the box recommends a 32 MB 3D video card, you might want to go higher than an 8MB card if you end up getting a new video card.

More video memory on an Intel card isn't really going to improve your game that much. Disable it and get a better video card if you can.

Buy a PCI video card such as a GeForce 2 or 3. Follow their instructions and you should be able to install it no problem. A GeForce 2 MX 400 PCI should be less than 40$s nowdays, so try to find a normal Geforce 2 or a Geforce 3 thats PCI. Remember, DON'T get AGP, cause if you have an integrated video card you most likely don't have an AGP port.

I have an Intel d815eea PGA370 board and it has integrated video and an agp port. Before you go out and buy something look in your computer and see if you have a brown port thats above all the white ones and if you do be sure to get an AGP card.

Well, you bought parts and built your PC then right? Put it this way I think, if you bought a manufactured PC like "a Dell" you are more likely to be screwwed than if you bought the parts and put it together.

Yeah, no AGP

If I remember right, there is a GF4 MX440 that is available in PCI. You might want to look into that.

I've seen many compaq boards and at least 85% have AGP ports.

Yeah, my old HP system had an AGP port.

Though the point is rather moot as he's already said no AGP port exists.

I'm about to put a Geforce4 mx 420 (pci) on ebay, I'll send you a PM if I do. Its not as fast as a 440. But when your talking PCI bandwidth is usually the limiting factor anyway. Also, I have used this card for wc3, and it works just fine.

My video card just sucks ass. But, I'm getting a new computer soon, that should take care of that.

I was in the same position, except my entire computer sucked.

*Sigh* Where have the days of 300 mHz gone? ;)
