Help with treasure chests

I know this may be a stupid question to ask, but how do you make treasure chests.

Make a closed chest combo that is slashable, then make an open chest tile that is half solid. Place the closed chest on the screen, place flag 10 over it, and set a special item room with the item of your choice, or press A and select a number. Some common numbers are: 9 - key, 10 - blue candle, 49 - Heart piece, and 3 - bombs. You can find the number by making a room, then, without changing the special item, change the room type to none and press A to find the item number.
