View Full Version : Level 8 in HD

I seem to have the opposite problem of the Geepster. I found the cross already, but now I cannot find the flippers. I notice there is a key, but I cannot get to it because there are these three blocks blocking the way (this is in a room that also has four moving traps). I have searched everywhere else, and I cannot find a thing!

Try the hammer. It takes 2 keys total to get to the flippers. Lev 8 is very small compared to almost every other dungeon there is in HD, so it shouldn't take long. (Hammer is very useful in Lev 8. Dunno why it doesn't occur to us to use it.)

After you get that key, you need to get to a room with a Darknut on a lone platform with a lightable torch in the water somewhere in the dungeon. Kill the other enemies, aim at the Darknut, then use your Magic Wand. If you aimed right, the Wand will hit the 'Nut, stop and the flame will appear, hopefully lighting the torch. Afterwards, it's smooth sailing to the boss, a 20-or-so headed Gleeok. Kill it, and get the flippers. Then, continue on through the dungeon to eventually reach the Triforce.

It's a 8-headed Gleeok I think.

I really didn't get a chance to count. But yeah, I remember it a little clearer now, it's around 8-headed.

The 20+ headed Gleeok is in Master Dome.. (and it spews fire. Boy was that fun... :evil:)

In the Xtreme version its around 24. ;)
