I can't get this quest to start up. when I try, I get an error message saying:" invalid quest file". not sure why, any Ideas?

What version of ZC are you using? I think you need beta 1.92 build 183. It can be found here. http://www.zcnetwork.com/

At least build 182 to play it, but it's designed for 183. Any previous version may be glitchy and buggy.

Anyways, you have to download 1.92b182 executable and support zips, then the 183 player (and install it over the 182 player version)

Through the caves brewer.. Oh, and do try to keep a paper map of everything. It helps when you can't quite find that last key to get to an item. DFW put some really twisted dungeons in there.

or you can shoot the holes in mountain walls to restore bridges.

It's better to go through Askavar Caves for the first time getting to level 2 because you can pick up a magic upgrade on the way. But afterwards, you should just use the bridge. :)

perhaps I should keep a paper map, I am now stuck in level two seemingly short one key. I have the lantern, but I think I am about 1 door short of the boomarang, oh well, guess I will keepo tryin.

i can't figure out how to get to the chest with all the blocks around them in level 2 how do i get rid of those blocks

You don't if its the chest I'm thinking of. Try bombing over from the next room (Yes I know there's already 2 doors..)

From the entrance, go up one screen. Walk up to the right torch and fall down the hole. From there, it's easy to reach the chest with blocks around it.

i ca'nt get to the chest in level 2 where the water is blocking to cross to get to the chest how do i cross the water to open the chest and there is a door with two pointed things how do i get past them

Oh, that's not the place to the key. It's elsewhere. When you get the Magic Wand from Kraver (level 3), you can use it there to get to a 50-rupee chest.

where is the magec boomerrang at is it in level 2 how do i get past the 2 pointed spoike things to a locked door

Oh, there? Go one screen to the left from there. In that room, light the lamp. Go into THAT locked door. There's another soonafter, and then you're in the room with the Magic Boomerang.
