Check out the Elvish in my sig.
Tengwar are the consonant symbols for the elvish alphabet in The Lord of the Rings world. The vowels are called Tehtar, and they go up above (and sometimes below) the Tengwar.
If you want to know how to write with Tengwar, this site is very handy.

One thing to note, the keys that the elvish letters are associated with on the keyboard do not match the actual letters. You need to use the pdf files that come with the fonts. One is all you could ever need to know about the language and it's different uses. The other is the keyboard map layout.
