Does anybody know of a program that will rip the graphics from sonic 1?
Or some tiles sheets will do.

Well I have a emulator but only gens works for me and it won't turn off layers.
I have alot of tiles so far but nothing to work with.

...Have you tried Genecyst? It allows for graphic layers to be turned on/off, and to take full-color PCX (and possibly .BMP depending on how you set it, I don't recall) screenshots, which the layer options do affect... Not that I have much to base this on, but I would guess off the top of my head that the program would work pretty well on most PCs.

Well I have a XP computer so it won't work for me.
If there is a windows version tell me where I can get it.

Maybe Tile Layer Pro would work? I heard it's pretty good.

genisis Roms are a bear to rip from... I wanted a ToeJam and earl set a while back, but couldn't find any way to do so.

I'd suggest contacting a member by the name of Sonic723 or something like that... He's got a sonic quest, and has done a damn good job gathering graphics. I'm sure tilesheets do exist though.

I don't really care if I can't find anything I was just going to gather stuff from the game to give to the people at GU who are making sonic games.

um sonic723 was my e-mail address a while back. Most of them i just made by hand. some of them i just took snap shots and re-created them. i don't even know if i have them anymore...

No, there was a guy named Strider1984 or something who made a Sonic ZC quest and ripped alot of graphics for it. Thats who he was referring to. :toast:
