Whoa, there is some really cool stuff on here. A glossary Google Style, this might just replace my trusty Atomica program I've been using.

I was just searching through the backwater that is google and cane across their beta lab site.

The Google Viewer is my personal favorite http://labs.google.com/gviewer.html

That's pretty cool!

IMO google is the best search engine and is what i use , if people think there is better, what are they? even google doesn't always find what i want!

I like the mouseless one a lot, that's really cool. The slideshow one was kind of slow though, and for when different pages of one website link, it can take a while...

How many people caretake google? It seems like such a simple site, however the welcome icon changes and they have all those different advertisements after searches and now these lab things. Is it a big company?

I'm not sure how big Google is, but they are a significant company... they seem to advertise for jobs on campus here on a regular basis.

I read a job description for one of the programmer jobs for google, and it is NOT a simple site. There is an intense web of complicated search algorithms and programming that requires some great computer scientists to accomplish.

Interesting...google is one of the best search engines...I mean THE best search engine there is! It rocks! This is the 1337357 thing I've seen in a long time!

Usually, for me, if Google doesn't have it, altavista.com does.

Anyway, that's really spiffy, SWE ;)

the webquote thing doesn't really work. most of the time it just says "0 webquotes availible"
