<- Smiley color changes??

how come all of the post smileys are now yellow?? I know some were annoying when there was like red, yellow, red, yellow, red in the post list, but now nothing has any zing to it... i miss 'em.

Well, I've been cleaning up our boards directory. Eliminating redundant files, ditching unused files, deleting empty directories, that sort of thing. One of the directories I got rid of was our old UBB images folder. For some reason, though, the boards were set up to use icons from that folder as the posticons. So I went in and set it to use the ones in the images folder of the style in question like it's supposed to.

Hmm, I guess I should go through now and make sure each style has an icons folder, otherwise that's a lot of broken images ;)

ahh that would explain why that picture of the vase now has a crack in it ... wait a minute!!!

so will it be fixed? will we see our horrible renditions of evil faces again in the near future?

I suppose I could replace the defaults with the ones that used to be in the UBB folder.

The good news is that those can be changed on a style by style basis now. Anybody who's made a style and wants to replace the posticons with their own set, feel free to send them to me and I'll set it all up.

There are 14 of them: Post, Arrow, Lightbulb, Exclamation, Question, Cool, Smile, Angry, Unhappy, Talking (big grin), Red Face, Wink, Thumbs Down, Thumbs Up. They need to be named icon#.gif where the # goes in the order that they're listed above. Anybody who does make icons, you really should make icons that correspond to the above. Otherwise you'll have problems like a person making a thread with the http://www.armageddongames.net/images/icons/icon8.gif icon, that shows up to a person using another style as http://www.armageddongames.net/images/firebrick/icons/icon10.gif

BTW, for the moment the "make an icon and I'll put it up" offer is only valid for people who have made styles that we're currently using, which may only be limited to JJ now that I think of it ;)
