Risk!! {The Board game of world conquest!!}

Where can I find a good computer version to download?? My attempts to find one have ended in failure.

{I've been itching for a good game of risk!}

Well, Risk is produced by Hasbro Interactive (Hasbro.com). They might have a demo. If you want the full version to download... I'm not touching that with an 80-foot pole. Requests for roms and "warez" are against the rules.

I don't think he's referring to warez, but a 3rd party version of the game (like ZC). I could be wrong though.

I searched for "Risk clone for the computer" on google, and got a bunch of results that look promising.

Alot of people link to that Attila game. It might be worth a look. Good luck!

I've played a few but can't remember where i got some off them from?

Here's one though

TurboRisk plays the classic "World Domination Risk" game, where you are battling to conquer the world.

The main features include:

Support for both human or computer driven players, up to ten per game.
Computer players programmable using a subset of PASCAL.
Highly customisable rules.
Smart interface that speeds up cards playing, attacks and troops movements.
Stats window that shows counters for territories and armies.
Optional log window to track the game and/or debug computer players.

TurboRisk is FREEWARE and can be freely used and distributed provided that neither code nor documentation are altered in any way.

It was allright , it's small which is why i got it (56k modem). The A.I. wasn't that great but some people have posted their own A.I. players which i've never tried , they might be better.

It's worth a try anyway. http://www.marioferrari.org/freeware.html

If i remember any other ones i'll post it up .

There was an online free version which just required to sign up to play against real poeple which was dead good. Not sure if it's still going though as i was years ago when i played it and they might have money problems, but if your interested i'll track down the url (which escapes me right now{i really should wright stuff down})

If I were you, I'd buy a Sega Genesis for 10 bucks (hell of a system, great game base) and buy risk for it. I own it and it still gives me hours of pleasure.

/me would just like to note that that last comment should not be taken the wrong way.

If you have Warcraft 3 or Starcraft try out the Risk screnario maps online. It's fun.
