Ballad of Death

I'm playing Orion's Ballad of Death and cannot find the sword. I've been all over the place but all I've found are the boomerang and some bombs. Help anyone?

Did you bomb the block formation on the lower right side?
Before that you go left to gather 20 rupies from a cave and after bombing, you gather another 20 from a cave to the right. Now you have enough to buy the candle.

OK, now I have the candle. But it's the sword I'm looking for...

Burn that odd colored bush one screen up from where you start and then go to level 1. Good luck with those traps. I hate those traps, almost as much as I hated those red bubbles in Planet, JayeM.:)

Once you ge to level 1 head north 2 rooms. You don't need to kill the "bats" but there a bunch of pests if you don't. Bomb the middle of the room on the floor this will get you to the 3 rooms to the far east. In the second room there is a "unicorn" you will need bombs to kill it. Bomb and move bomb and move. I really can't remember how many time you need to bomb it but I think it was 4. Head north and get the sword. Good luck. Let me know if you ever find level 2 or 3.

Hi,

I have followed the advice and finally finished level 1. Can any one tell me where level 2 is? Or better yet a hammer.
