Ok, enough talk. let's start a game of either D&D or AD&D and see what happens. I nominate Axel headmaster, leader, whatever you call it.

I'll see what I can do, but a game on the forums won't work. we need to set up AIM times, its the only thing I've tried that did work

Campaign Rules:
1. No more than 7 characters.
2. 2nd edition rules.
3. No Barbarians, Monks, or Asassins.

(btw, why not IRC instead of AIM?)

*ahem*

AXEL IS GAME MASTER! HE IS GOD! HE IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR LIFE! HE IS THE KEEPER OF YOUR SOUL!

Just go with what he says.

2nd edition rules because I'm comfortable with 2nd edition.
no Barbarians or Asassins because they're impossible to role play. no monks because at low levels they are useless.

i don't know 2nd edition very well, i've got 3rd. and with that i have a superb barbarian and bard.
are there any backwards character converters around?

there's the one that came with the 3rd edition player's handbook. on the CD with the character generator there's a PDF file for converting 2nd edition characters to 3rd. just use it in reverse.
as for barbarians, they can't get along in any party that isn't completely compossed of barbarians. not if you role play them correctly anyways...
