Has anyone found that having MODs in your quest make the speakers 'crackle'?
It is realy annoying!
This seems to happen when the FPS starts to drop. :odd:
Will this stop in the next beta?

Also, when you warp, the MOD restarts, will that stop also? You gotta admit, its a real pain when there are alot of insta-warps happening:eyebrow:

The music restart is fixed in the latest beta, I believe. As for crackling, I think that if (when) the music variables are user-defineable (right now, MODs play at highest quality and thus have problems on lower-end systems), that should be fixed.

well, in my next quest which will use all MODs, I believe that I won't have many 'warps' so the music shouldn't restart much if the bug hadn't been fixed. :)

Music files to use instead of midis. In the DMAP editor, "Load Tracker Music" or "Load T.Music" or some such.

oh...another question; how do you make a midi into a sound affect that you could use with the grabber tool...i want to make a part of the "Song of Time" the sound of affect to use for the whistle rather than the current one...how would i go about doing this?

Record the midi to a wave, clip the wave to the part you want, grab it.
