Quest Announcement/Discussion has multiple pinned resources for quests, but currently Developer's Exchange is left emptyhanded. So I figured I'd post a link to PureZC's Tiles and Tilesets, which currently has the largest selection I know of. :D

http://www.purezc.com/Database/Database.png

Loose Tiles (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tiles)
All kinds of loose tiles, overworld, interior, sprites, etc. Keep in mind that though all of the various kinds of tilesheets are merged into one section, you can choose what you're looking for and search with the fields above the listing.
Types of tiles: Overworld (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tiles&type=overworld) :: Interior (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tiles&type=interior) :: Sprite (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tiles&type=sprite) :: Misc. (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tiles&type=misc)

Tilesets (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tilesets)
A wide variety of tilesets available here. Most of them are for 1.92, though.
Types of tilesets: 1.90 (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tilesets&version=1.90) :: 1.92 (http://www.purezc.com/index.php?page=tilesets&version=1.92)

Enjoy, and I hope it's helpful! ;)

This might should be pinned like the other resource topic, but I'll let a moderator decide on that.

At some point, that Secret of Mana tileset that warlock, I, and now Zoraman have been working on should be added to your tileset section, methinks.

"I would also like to take this moment to make the Tileshop's stance perfectly clear. The people at Zelda Class Network have asked me to simply shut down the site and step aside for the tile database they say they are planning on releasing quite soon. I am told that this will avoid needless conflict between the two sites. But I don't see why there has to be a conflict from two co-existing and similar websites. Why should I give up a site I have spent this much time on? The Tileshop stays up. No argument. No bickering. No contest."

Plith... Does that really need to be on the main page? I take offense to having my site potrayed as some sort of tyrant when you know full well, and have for some time that GT's thoughts do not correspond with "ZCN" or any of it's owners... So terms like "they" are not only false, but uncalled for.

You know we aren't like that -_-

I would love to see a StarTropics tileset done. I think i said this over at PZC through the shout box, but it would be cool to have fun making a quest with it.

I think he means (or at least i would like to know) how you pull it into zquest? I thought you could use the "Grab" thing but it wont let me load them to it

Most full tilesets are in quest format to preserve combos and palettes. If you want to rip tileset tiles into your quest file, open the tileset quest in Zquest, and go to files -> extract -> tiles (Or something like that). Then use grab to rip them in.

If it's just loose tiles that you're working with and it won't use grab, then I don't know what your problem is.

i there a zelda link to the past tileset? oh yeah, that secret of mana tileset sounds really cool. i'm at the end of the game(secret of mana) right now and it's strange that you should say you are making one, cause i was just thinking about how cool that would be. anyway, will the tiles sets for 190 and 192 work with 2.10?

Yes, there's a LTTP Tileset. Check the address in my sig. for it. It will work for 2.10, but it will be updated specifically for it soon.

Man ripping tilesets sucks you have to recolor it and it gets confusing to recolor it all and still make it look right im trying to make a sonic tileset and i ripped tiles from sonic 2 but they are all fucked up and it takes all day just to recolor one whole screenshot.

Zelda Warrior, do you have an image-modifying program on your computer like Corel Photo-Paint or Adobe Photo-Shop? If you do, you can load the screenshots you're ripping from into that program first, convert it to a sixteen-color palette, and then save it. When you activate grab with that saved file, the only palette line will be the sixteen colors you set, so you can just set up a new cset with those colors and take all the tiles without one minute of recoloring.

Yes, I hve paint shopt pro but the thing is is that Sonic 2 is already in a 16 color pallette it was released for the genisis, so why would I need to change the color palette? It's just in the wrong colors.

is it possible to combine two tilesets if they are both in .qst format?

If anybody needs to know how to open loose tiles on the ZQuest maker,
then read these steps:

1: Go to the quest on ZQ
2: Select Graphics
3: Click on tiles
4: Select a open (or Black) Tile
5: Click on the "Grab" option
6: Click on "open" and chose the Desired File

hey man, i would like to point out that this topic is close to a year old, and generally posting in topics this old is frowned upon. it is advisable to create a new thread and link to the old post in question.

as far as an answer to your question, i'm not sure of 'leach' is still an option, but one would assume that it would mean to rip the tiles, or make them usable for your own original quest. if i am wrong, i apologize, as i dont usually mess with ZQuest.
