Zeldaclassic.com Site Updates

The other day I was looking at the zeldaclassic.com site, and there were links to the different dbs, but now they are gone. I was happy to see the links to purezc, since it is such a well made site, but now the links are gone. Couldn't something be done about it?

Breaker's ftp database has been shut down I understand.
There is also http://www.zcnetwork.com/forums that includes quest database forums.

It looks like that update was cached by Google:

Seems strange that it was deleted instead of pushed down by a new news posting. :odd:

From what I've heard Zaph say he's very upset with fan projects, and what I'm guessing is that Breaker pulling the plug on his ftp pushed him over the edge. He was however talking about making a DB pasge to contain them all, but it seems strange he would simply delete the announcement :shrug: but in the mean time anyone needing quests can find over 300 of them at ZCN.

Yeah, I know the sites, Geepster, but I was just happy to see purezc get a link up on the main page, since my main man Wild Bill (raichu) works so hard on it, but I was wondering why the links got pulled so quickly. Thanks for the info, DC.

Yeah, Raichu has done some awesome work. I tell him how much I like PureZC regularly :D I think Zaph will figure out a good way to link all the databases soon.

Yeah, that does seem strange. The other fan projects are getting better constantly, so I would think he would just announce that Breaker's FTP was pulled. :odd: Maybe there were some other reasons.

Ok here's the deal...

The links were indeed removed, and will be replaced with not a news update but a Quest DB section including all your favorites.

Also mirror files will be updated, and as if that weren't enough Shadowblazer, and I have something cooking that I think may benifit a lot of us ;)
