PS2 CD Burner? Hmmmm....

I just got my latest issue of EGM (164) to day and found something interesting, on page 27 it states "Tap Up-Down-Up-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right-A-B-Start to open the CD burner menu." WTF? A and B? Ofcourse I've already been testing it using various button combinations.

Does anyone know anything about this? It looks like another early April Fools to me.

well its a dead give away that its a fake...
take a look @ the claim that the PS2 drive is a CD burner.
that would mean its a DVD \ CD Burner combo. Those drives are worth more than the PS2 alone...
whoever falls for that is not all that bright, im sorry man, but that was just dumb to beleive...

um dvd player/cd burners can be bought for around 50 -60 bucks

It's bullshit. PS2 doesn't have a laser setting for writing, nor any source data to write.
