Um... I don't see a topic here. Are the forums messing up again?

Yes, a bit. I tried to post a topic, but it f'ed up. Here it is:

Does anyone here use a VGA box/converter for their consoles?

I've got a crappy old TV and I'd like to be able to play games on my PC monitor, since I can't very well use the PC and play a console at the same time. That leaves a perfectly good 19" monitor to waste while I'm using this 10 year old pos tv.

Anyhow, since there aren't any official vga converters, can anyone recommend a decent one and give some pros/cons on them? Are they known to produce any graphical glitches or quality loss? Also, are they compatible with all games? I noticed the back of Metroid Prime says "Progressive scan compatible" while Sonic Adventure 2: Battle doesn't.

I've been looking at this one VGA box that has 4 Composite inputs, 1 VGA input, and 1 VGA output along with a sound output jack. (you can see it here (www.buyritegames.com/product_information.asp?number=PS2-VGAMSB&back=yes&dept=1003&last=1028) )
Is this a decent model? If so, what's a good price on it?

FYI, the inputs on that are likely composite, not RGB. However, you are likely looking for composite instead of RGB so it balances out.

Yeah, sorry that's what I meant. I was tired.
