View Full Version : Timed warps and combo cycling

I noticed something relating to timed warps in the screen properties dialog in Zquest, but not anywhere else. What exactly does this mean? Is it a feature I just don't know about, or something DN hasn't implemented yet (on another note, we really need the ZQuest manual updated). Also, is there any way to control the speed of combo cycling? Is it set, or is it somehow related to the timed warp thing I mentioned earlier? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you set the # of "Tics" here; 60 tics=1 second & after the # of tics is up, then Link is automatically warped Via the Side warp....this sort of clock resets everytime you leave & enter the room...this is good for like certain "mingames" where you have to beat a certain room in a certain matter of time...you could also use some more creativity in using combo cycling to have pit warps occur after a certain period of time...note, however, that for the mean time, any combos with the animation speed set over 10 WILL NOT CYCLE!!!

That's weird. I have combos cycling over 100 speed.:)
