When I make my quest, I want to make a classic style one. One with no new tiles, just a nice classic style tile set, but I will make a new quest/game anyways. If I made this so it's based on newer things, but with the old tiles, would you play it?

How many people playing the quest depends on what you create. In other words, if you're going to make a classic-style quest, make sure it's not some LoZ 1st quest remake in some way. For example, someone is making a 1st quest remix, with new classic tiles and stuff.

Personally, I'd play a classic-style quest, but not if it's some rehash of the 1st quest.

No, it would not be a remake, and it would use my ideas.

So, what are you planning to do anyway?

classic quests are good ONLY if they are challenging. This means that you sacraficed the eye-candy to give us the best of the meat and potatoes. Exampe: James.qst. That was incredible, only because it was f.ing difficult. same for new.qst. if you can parallel those, you're in. I'll definitely play it

Eye candy sucks.

The old tile set with a different quest is basically what I'm going for GSA (check sig for more information.)

Also, where can I find this 'James.qst'?

You should be able to snag the James quest at one of the Quest Databases that are linked to from the main ZC site.

I played some of James.qst, it is pretty good... except for the fact that my computer now likes to be crappy, and randomly freezes and decides not to work. In fact, while I was playing that game once, ZC just suddenly closed...

I wouldn't mind as long as you changed those god-awful palettes.
After all, classic has many more tiles now than it did before.

If you can make it in the style of Z1, I'd play it.
