Check it out. The US Geological Survey and Micro$oft created this website where you get airial views of anyplace inthe US. The page i have linked here has bookmarks of famous places you can check out. Also see if you can find your house. I found the local strip club on mine :naughty:

only problem is these pictures are 5 years old(almost) i can't seem to spot some of the better places to go downtown because they hadn't been buit in 1998. i can however, spot my dorm.

EDIT:lane stadium doesn't even have the excellent south end zone addition.

These have been around for years at varius sites.

And they're so outdated.

I have found a picture of another satellite in space, it looks like. I will edit this post once I find it again!

Wow.. maybe I can spot myself running around my homestead here in the country. I'd be a little shit.. hmm.. just about to enter 6th grade. Damn that's like 7.5 years ago. at least it has MOST of the features of my current house. Its missing 2 sheds, the barn, and the LARGE stack of hay that would have been around that time of the year.. 7 years ago. (we canned the cows 5 years ago)

My area is from April 13, 1999. I actually found my house, but you can't zoom in enough to make posting the picture worthwhile.

I found my house too... but you couldn't do a whole lot of zooming so it was basically worthless.

I personally like mapquests feature much better than this one, it displays satelite images closer, with higher quality, and in color. The only fallback may be the date, I think the mapquest image oudates the terraserver a little, but heck, they are both at least 5 years outdated.

Anway, see for yourself:
