Actually, it's a full version of ZQuest. For Windows. Possibly with a tile editor in there at some point.

I'm surprised DFW didn't get it, seeing as how one of the windows says ZQuest for Beta 182, and the other behind it saying zquest blah blah blah blah.

It was pretty abvious. It says Zquest on the window
It looks very cool. Hope DN sees this. He would probably like to see it. ;)

Well, it's not one of those. I've actually looked at what he's got done so far and given him a couple suggestions to boot. Nyah.

Think we can see ZClassic in a window format? I don't like playing in the DOS-type fullscreen.

Zelda can *already* be windowed in the beta versions.
DN and I are aware of what McCrackin is doing. In fact, I've been working closely with McCrackin to help him produce this. I've wanted to take on this project for a long time, but never found time.
It's important to point out that this ZQuest will only work with QSU files, not QST files.

Yes, I would like to thank fatcatfan, plith, and Dark Nation for your contributions.
This will only work with QSU format, as fatcatfan said. I am now focusing on the tile editing part right now. I hope to add more and enhanced features than what the original zquest can do now.

Only QSU? hmm, I guess its ok if we can have Zquest in windows in the future. I think I could see McCrakin being part the devolpment team. This is really cool.

I wouldn't push it that far, Darth Cronic won't even let me join the Beta Testers...

No not testesr. Development. That would be pushing it, though, you seem to know what you are doing.

If you mean in a similar way as the future Windows-like tile editor McCrackin is making, how do you activate it? Otherwise, I'll stick with old familiar DOS-type stuff...

Nice work there McCrackin. You do have potential to join up. I've got basic programming under my belt and I wouldn't know where to begin.

Anyone else interested in programming "third party" applications to interact with Zelda Classic QSU (unencoded quest) files can look here (http://www.armageddongames.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=779654#post779654) for a starting point.
