I like the crazy evelle/nice Smeagol (as seen in the first 2 LotR films).

Nice tho...he looks like a homeless crack head looking for food.

He was, as I recall, supposed to be portrayed as a 60 year old Heroin addict, only "addicted" to the power of the ring. They did a good job on the schizophrenic-like scene, and the picture isn't bad.

Um, if I'm not mistaken that's an earlier version of Sméagol, or Gollum. My friend purchased the extended DVD of FotR and he watched the making of Gollum. He told me that the original design looked how he imagined Gollum to look, but the newer fully CGI one was choosen for some reason or another. I like the CGI one better because it doesn't look like a wierdo in a gay half-zombie costume.

I know that the team went back and reshot some of the TT and that's probably why Gollum looks different in the pic for your avatar. If you could give me a link to the site where you go it from I might be able to find out for sure if this is the case or not.

Shit I'm stupid. I should of carefully read the posts. I just now saw that DC was reffering to when Gollum got the ring long long ago, so that would make sense for him to look like that. Sorry, ignore my above post.
