problems with controller pad

i have a gamepad that i want to use on this game. it worked on my last computer. i went into the agsetup and configured it but when i go into zelda and set it up it doesnt seem to work. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I seem to be back :p Lets see. The best thing to do is use the windows version. You don't need to you the AGsetup and everything uses the windows drivers. You never have to mess with sound ect.

ok i tried that and it still didnt work. wtf is the problem with it? is it just a piece of $h!t or what?

lol that could be it :D Do you have drivers setup in you computer? You need thoe first.

Yeah, first of all, we must isolate the problem, test your gamepad in some other game. If it works, then it's a zelda classic problem, if not, it is your gamepad (either drivers or the controller itself)

when i go into agsetup and do the joystick setup, it works. but when i go into the game it does'nt. i dont know what the problem is because it worked on my last cpu. and not on this one.:confuse2:

try pressing esc to go to the main menu on zelda classic and choose joystick settings or maybe your not saving the settings on agsetup

no thats not it. i know that i saved it from agsetup and then it wont work in the game. and i dont have sound either. this thing is just pissingt me off

what version of zc do you have and is it dos or windows?
