Can somebody tell me which ones I can delete and which ones have to be left where they are at. I know I can't delete the new enemy tiles if I want to use them, what about the ones on the first screen.

You can deleate anything you like as long as you adjust the combo table accordingly.

Its been a while since I actually worked on ZC. I know back then, you couldn't delete the enemies on the first page. Is it still like that? Can I delete the whole entire first page? Thats what I meant.

Some tiles are still referenced and hardcoded, like the guy sprites and link sprites, but sure, you should be able to do it although I don't know why.

The Link/HUD icons/guys/Zelda tiles are the only ones you shouldn't delete. Otherwise, as long as you're using New Enemy Tiles, you can clean house.

Forgive my ignorance but what is a HUD icon? Something from a river in New England?? :p

Huh, don't remember what HUD exactly means but it's everything that is not directly part of your play screen in video games. Say for example, in first-person shooters, you have your health indicator, weapons, armor, that is your HUD. In zelda classic, the HUD icons are the hearts (red to white), the rupies, bombs, power bombs and keys with x after them, etc.. Basically, it is most of the things that appears in the black bar above the playing screen. Perhaps someone out there knows what HUD exactly means?

The only things you really need are the HUD and the Link Tiles, but when DN finishes the Link's sprites menu, that won't be needed..and you can just put the Guy's on layers so you don't even need them there..:P
