It's a dance club. A band named SClub 7 sang about it, and they said the name over and over. It's an inside joke, basically. Yeah.

Whats so great about cause unfortunatley I will never hear it. (I'm stuck on dial up for a long time and I don't wanna wait 2 hours for something that I might say "Thats pretty damn gay" about.

Disco is indeed "pretty damn gay," and I was sure it had died a horrid death several decades ago. As such, I too am perplexed by this "discotek" disease.
