Rail Shooters are king!!

Rail shooters provide the most awesome experience in testing your reflexes. Some of my favorites include House of the Dead, Carnevil, the Star Wars Trilogy, and Maximum Force. Rail Shooters are the only games I play at the arcade ever since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons disappeared.

I know. The arcade game was sweet! It's very rare nowadays. The last time I saw one was in a hotel near Rapid City, South Dakota. Of course, I can find all sorts of good rail shooters at the mall about 30 miles from where I live. Of course, some other great things about the arcades that still exist are the Skeeball tables, air hockey tables (I actually used to own one), and variations of Whack-a-Mole.

an arcade back home still has the simpsons. and xmen too. a question, has anyone else seen the old diehard arcade game popping back up? the past 3 arcades i've been to have all recently put the game in

I think that there should be such a thing as "retro arcades" where you can play games like TMNT and even some of the great arcade games from the early 80s. Donkey Kong, anyone? :D

Galaga. That's the only arcade game I play anymore. Still just one quarter.
