MGS2 has a swordless quest of sorts =)

Here's the challenge... Play through the Tanker stage on Extreme, and try to keep a ciggarete equiped at all times. It will stop draining your life when it gets very low, and makes for quite the challenge =)

And when I say keep it on I mean keep it on... It locks out things like rations etc.

The metal gears at the end would be nearly impossible, and what about when you don't have cigs (raidens beggining).

Wait....nevermind. I thought you werer implying that one also couldn't use any weapons either, due to the "swordless quest of sorts" in the title.

I thought you were talking about beating Solidus with your hands instead of using the sword, but that's just too easy, and I expected DC could do that anyway.

But, what would you do with the part before you meet up with Plisken (snake) when you don't have cigarettes, and Raiden claims not to smoke, but he loves the nicotine, everyone does, and you can't escape the nicotine.

The plant unfortunatly couldn't be done... too many items you have to use... not to mention swimming.

and yeah... Snake Tale number 5 at the end you have to take on several Ray units and Solidus as Snake, and of course youre bare handed =)

I would guess that wouldn't count, going through the whole game with 2 fists would be fun but there would still have to be exceptions (the sniper part where you gotta keep emma from dying).
