got the game myself played through it beat it ... it sucked... woulda expected to see it better since squaresoft did make it

Ya, the game sucked. I prefered Star Ocean 2: The Second Story. That game was just so much fun.

Shouldn't expect something to be good if squaresoft makes it, they do best on FF's and thats about it.

Not really, I think that Chrono trigger was well done as well as the SOM games. Didn't like any of the GB versions though.
But generally I find the reverse to be true to what you say about square. :shrug:

Squaresoft WAS good. They are merely "ok" now. However Enix bought them I believe... Enix made SO2 which ruled.
